This is potentially quite a boring photo, but it captured my attention for several reasons: I liked the repeating patterns of all the little buds - like little flowers of hops. And these seem mirrored by the repeating patterns of the surrounding leaves below, and I like how the subtle purple tones set off against the yellowish green tones. Plus it has the bonus of being better than anything else I photographed today!

So, yesterday, it reached a high of over 60 degrees. Today - snow all day, and barely inching above freezing. The snow started out in our woods around 7am, and was still going strong by nightfall.
